Sarah Ellis
Sarah Ellis has published a baker's dozen books including novels, picture books, a short story collection and two books about writing. Her awards include the Mr. Christie Book Award, the Violet Downey Book Award and the Governor General's Award, the Sheila A. Egoff Book Prize and the TD Childrens Book of the Year. Sarah's books have been translated into French, Spanish, Danish, Korean and Japanese. She was recently writer-in-residence at the Toronto Public Library. Regular reviews for Hornbook Magazine, the occasional review for The New York Times, a children's book column for Quill and Quire magazine, presentations in schools, and lecturing on children's literature round out Sarah's life with books.
