A few of our clients, and what they are saying about us
"We’ve held a number of functions at Vermont College of Fine Arts – from committee meetings to all day conferences. It’s one of our favorite places to hold meetings. The college is centrally located, easy parking, diverse and flexible facilities, great food, excellent customer service, beautiful location. It really has it all.”
-Peter Espenshade, Vermont Community Foundation
“This summer we held a two day conference at VCFA for more than 400 participants. The location and the facility were ideal, and the College managed the logistics with remarkable competence. We plan to return next year. This is a great place to hold an event.”
-Nick Emlen, Vermont Council of Developmental & Mental Health Services
“The Vermont Rural Partnership has hosted many events at the VCFA over the years - both large and small. We can always count on their careful attention to the details, so critical to a well run function. It is an ideal setting for small group trainings or state-wide conferences.”
-Helen Beattie, Vermont Rural Partnership
"Vermont College of Fine Arts has been a great community partner for our AmeriCorps and VISTA programs. We bring the 40 members of our teams together each month for training, and VCFA does a great job of meeting our needs. The space is always clean, set up to our specifications, and staff are available to help out if needed. Our team members love staying at the dorms for a night. The overnight accommodations are not fancy, but do provide an affordable opportunity for our folks to make the most of their time in Montpelier, network with each other, and save on travel. I appreciate the non-profit discount that the college offers our organization, and the NECI run cafeteria on campus provides easy lunch and dinner options for people with a variety of dietary preferences and/or restrictions. With very little effort, I can arrange the meeting space, meals, and overnight accommodations for 40 people, at a rate that is affordable to our limited budget. Vermont Youth Tomorrow A*VISTA Program, and Vermont Youth Development Corps AmeriCorps State program are grateful to have VCFA facilities made available to us here in Montpelier."
-Nicholas Nicolet, VYDC AmeriCorps and VYT A*VISTA Program/ Washington County Youth Services Bureau
“The Snelling Center for Government has often used Vermont College of Fine Arts as an affordable Central Vermont location for our state-wide meetings. The facility has been perfect for us and we
appreciate the hands-on customer service and ample parking. We hold one three-day overnight conference at VCFA every year for the Vermont Leadership Institute – and our participants love the chance to be so close to the State House and downtown Montpelier.”
-Colleen Oettinger, Snelling Center for Government

-Wendy Scott, Vermont Principals Association
“Vermont College of Fine Arts was a fine conference space in an historic building with state of the art technology available and wonderful food provided by the New England Culinary Institute. VCFA accommodated our need to distribute 10,000 Open Studio Maps and signs during the conference, with ease.”
-Martha Fitch, Vermont Crafts Council

"As Montpelier's resident orchestra, we are fortunate to have use of one of Vermont's finest performance halls. The facility is unparalleled in ambiance and acoustics, and VCFA's customer service and scheduling team has always gone out of their way to accommodate us.” We are proud to call this jewel our home."
- Melissa Perley, Montpelier Chamber Orchestra
“We used VCFA for all our process team and working group meetings during the Farm to Plate strategic planning process. Whether meeting with a small or larger group, we found the rooms were great for our needs. The staff were always very responsive and terrific to work with, and the catered lunches were outstanding. We will definitely use VCFA again!”
-Heather Pipino, Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund
“Annually since the 2007 inception of the 30-person Vermont System Planning Committee, we have held one of the group’s quarterly meetings at Vermont College. Its easy-access location is central and convenient, and the campus setting is a very pleasant environment, always conducive to productive, collaborative work. Conference staff’s attention to logistical details is first rate. Arrangements are on time and as requested, and the staff is wonderfully responsive to unexpected needs that arise during the meetings.”
