A.M. Jenkins
A.M. (Amanda) Jenkins is the author of young adult novels Breaking Boxes, Damage, Out of Order, Beating Heart, Repossessed, and Night Road, as well as the co-author (with Tiffany Trent) of Queen of the Masquerade, a book in the Hallowmere series. Her short story “The Last Second” was published in Rush Hour: Reckless. Jenkins’ work for educational publishers ranges from grades K-8, and includes original stories, retellings, and Reader’s Theater. Honors include the Delacorte Press Prize for a First Young Adult Novel, California Young Reader Medal, BBYA Top Ten, ALA Quick Picks, L.A. Times Book of the Year Finalist, Michael L. Printz Honor, and a PEN/Phyllis Reynolds Naylor Working Writer Fellowship.
