Humberto Ramirez is an artist, writer, and curator whose interdisciplinary approach to art and pedagogy reflects his education, which includes graduate studies in art and science. Humberto is particularly interested in the intersection of art and language. He has taught at a variety of educational settings ranging from inner-city schools to colleges, universities, and art colonies. Issues of difference and cultural resistance are paramount to his artistic practice, which originally was as a painter and now also focuses on video and netArt.
