Uma Krishnaswami

Uma Krishnaswami is the author of picture books (Monsoon, The Closet Ghosts, The Happiest Tree: A Yoga Story and Out of the Way! Out of the Way!), middle grade novels (Naming Maya, The Grand Plan to Fix Everything), and easy readers (Holi, Yoga Class). Uma's poems and short stories have been included in anthologies from HarperCollins and Simon and Schuster, and in magazines for young readers. She has middle grade novels under contract with Atheneum and Lee & Low, and a chapter book in verse with Scholastic India.
