Vermont College of Fine Arts

It seemed to vanish almost as quickly as it had appeared, like a circus tent  in the middle of a prairie town. Swiss Posters 100 + Posters 50 + Years filled the Gymnasium turned art gallery on Friday night.

Sounds of clinking glasses, the baby grand piano,  laughter and applause drifted out through the open doors, across the  College Green and the empty, makeshift soccer field. Even the late dog walkers stopped to wonder what it was that had lit-up this usually dark corner of College Street so unexpectedly.
