An excerpt from VCFA President Tom Greene's new novel, The Headmaster's Wife, is featured at Numéro Cinq this week. MFA in Writing faculty member Doug Glover writes of the excerpt:

"The passage comes about half-way through the book and what you notice especially is how it works as a dramatic entity, beginning with anticipation, developing through conflict, and rising furiously toward a crashing climax."
