Gary Moore is a playwright who has taught at fourteen institutions of higher education on three continents. His bilingual rap opera The Great Emancipator Meets the Monkey King introduced rap music to the People’s Republic of China. He is the author of the full-length dramas Burning in China, Beaver Falls, Long Lankin’s Curse, and The Tongue of Their Gladness. Gary holds bachelor's and master's degrees in writing from Johns Hopkins, and is a member of the Dramatist’s Guild.
