Kathleen Dolan (Emerita) (Barnard, VT) is a 1995 graduate of the MFA in Visual Art program and is the Founder and Executive Director of Artistree Community Arts Center and Purple Crayon Productions in Pomfret, VT.
Kathleen has worked with children for more than 20 years as a care provider, arts educator, and art therapist. She has a MA in Art Therapy, MA in Fine Arts, MS in Mental Health Counseling, and a certification to teach art in grades K-12. Kathleen started Purple Crayon Productions in 2003 with arts and music programs for infants and children in early elementary grades. In 2007, she began programming for older children and adults and formally launched Artistree in 2009 to expand Purple Crayon’s art programs to include year-round visual arts, theatre and music classes, workshops, performances and events for adults and older children in the greater Woodstock area.
