Kate Hosford, 2011 MFA in WCYA

Running Press published Kate Hosford’s A Songbird Dreams of Singing: Poems About Sleeping Animals in November 2019, with illustrations by Jennifer Potter. This nonfiction poetry collection about wildlife includes explanations of the fascinating science behind animal sleep habits, and it just might be the first-ever poetry book about this subject.
