Henry Cole is an award-winning self-taught illustrator who studied forestry at Virginia Tech.
He was a science and math teacher at The Langley School for many years before turning to children’s book illustration. He has helped create nearly 100 picture books, including And Tango Makes Three by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell, the Little Bo series by Julie Andrews Edwards, and Children’s Choice winner Three Hens and a Peacock by Lester Laminack, as well as his own Jack’s Garden, On Meadowview Street, and an illustrated novel, A Nest for Celeste. Henry lives in Florida and Virginia.
