Jeffrey Thomas Leong is the author of Wild Geese Sorrow: The Chinese Wall Inscriptions at Angel Island (Calypso Editions, 2018). His poetry has appeared in Crab Orchard Review, Cimarron Review, Bamboo Ridge, Hyphen, Spillway, and elsewhere; and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

In addition to being a graduate of the Vermont College of Fine Arts, he received his BA and JD from the University of California at Berkeley, where he helped found the Asian American Studies program in the 1970s. For over twenty-five years he worked as a public health administrator and attorney for the City of San Francisco. He writes and lives with his wife and daughter in the San Francisco Bay Area.
